Good evening reader.
I thought to make this post as a update, alot has happened in the past few months and I thought to document it.
So first thing is, Truth In Her Eyes, I’m nearly through the 3rd episode which jesus its double the size of both Episode 1 and Two as shown below and its still not done…
But whilst I took a little break due to discovering what AI can do now, it brought back memoires of me making comics in secondary school (High School for my American friends) and with my mates in a fan group of FK, I wanted to explore how the world of the show could expanded, so I used ai to make panels whilst writing the story and built a sort of expanded episode.
The response was overwhelming. So much so something happened in the process of creating it, I didnt want to say goodbye to the character as the ai created this panel and seeing the smile, I had to continue the character and teased the group I was planning something…. NeverMore.
So I spent a week planning, creating both what a TV series intro would look like which I made with elements of ai and 3d modelling done by yours truly,
The reception was again unbelievable. People started asking me personally what happens next and told me what they are excited to see happen. And something unexpected happened. Someone complemented one of the shot due to it unintentionally looking like my favourite game. Vampire Bloodlines.
Bloodlines
Lets go back abit, my favourite game has been Bloodlines since I first saw it in the pc gamer magazine over 2 decades ago and fell in love with the game, the music, gameplay, story, clans. EVERY FUCKING ASPECT OF THE GAME. So when I heard we was getting a Bloodlines 2, to me that was my HL3 and GTA6. Seeing the news that some of the original devs, writers and hell RIK who made the music was returning. I knew it was going to be the best sequel, but that quickly changed when it was so close to being in my hands, some stupid shit dropped. Then the firings happened and then the studio was pulled from the project.
A few years pass and then I hear Chinese Room took over the project, a studio I sort of liked but that quickly changed when Bloodlines all of a sudden became more hey you play this character NOT YOU PLAY YOU which Bloodlines 1 did, I loved that, it wasn’t some preset character it was us as a vampire. Chinese Room removed everything that made Bloodlines 1 great. And since they’ve just made soulless dlc for the game. So I commented and said hey can we have the original build of Bloodlines 2.
Someone commented and said, dude you may as well make it yourself they won’t….
And you know what I went fuck it… lets make a prototype. And heres a screenshot of where I’m at currently with the build.
And all of these have started Bleeding into Truth In Her Eyes, I’ve renamed the nightclub in the series to NeverMore, I mention the Dominion which is one of the major factions of the Vampire RPG. its funny how everything has came together in just these past few months.
The Vampire RPG will have a name, in fact it already does but I’m not ready to show it yet.
American Dream
So why did I name this post American Dream and Vampires, well the vampires is because thats whats been on my mind, the other is the dream. So its been 6 months since I made the decision to go to America, and things have just been falling into place, I broke the habit of spending, now I’m saving and investing, I finally got my passport sorted and suitcase ready, the target is to visit america in the next 2 years. I’ve been comfortable in my job which I’m just about to hit the 8 year mark, and usually I won’t leave the comfort zone, but I handed in a application to move to a different department, more work, less time off but MORE PAY and I can book the time off. So I hope to be in America to celebrate both my birthday, Halloween and my friend from america’s birthday.
And that would be a taste of the American dream, I know when I go there and when I come back, I’ll want to return and stay the next time. My American Dream… Well I smile when I see it. It inspires me every day to live life to the fullest. And Truth In Her Eyes truly started with them.
The wait is a killer though, but I know it’ll be worth the wait, when I get off the plane and then see them walking towards me. So until that day, I’ll be back here working, writing, creating for my American dream.
